Fees

I offer a free 15-minute telephone call to discuss what brings you to counselling and answer your questions and for me to see if I think I am the right person to help you. 

Individual counselling is £60 per 50-minute session. (Reductions/concessions possible in case of financial need on discussion.)

Cancellation Policy – all sessions are charged apart from the exceptions below. 

When we make an appointment to meet, I keep that time for you and am unable to give it to anyone else so I need to charge for it if you miss it. 

I understand that things come up unexpectedly and will try to rearrange a missed session with another slot in the same week. If I can’t reschedule it then I will charge for the session. The more notice you give of a missed session, the more chance there is of being able to find another time. Or we may need to meet online instead of in person.

Exceptions: There will be no fee when:

• You have given advance notice of reasonable holidays* (ideally at least 2 weeks)
• You or a family dependant (ie child) are ill
• An emergency such as a car accident

*Lengthy holidays way above a standard 6 weeks a year will need to be negotiated.
