Confidentiality
All sessions are confidential unless I believe you are at risk of harming yourself or others or that you are at risk of harm. In these circumstances, disclosure is required by law. I will always try to inform you of a breach of confidentiality before it happens.
How long is a session?
All sessions are 50 mins. Please arrive for your session on time (do not ring the bell early).
How many sessions will I need?
Psychodynamic counselling is open-ended and varies according to individual circumstances. You can come as long as feel it is beneficial. I usually suggest we meet 6 times then review together how it is going.
Session notes & Supervision
I write brief session notes that cover the main themes and any actions taken. I comply with the GDPR in relation to information. Written notes are kept in a locked cabinet.
I attend regular supervision to ensure that I work safely and ethically. I may discuss clients at supervision but my work is anonymised and my supervisor is also subject to the rules of confidentiality.

I am signed up to the ICO, have a current enhanced DBS.
